Crossroads Hollywood is a vibrant new project that celebrates the past, present, and future of Hollywood. The project will rehabilitate the historic Crossroads of the World complex while revitalizing the surrounding area and creating a district that gives the area a new and vibrant future.

Crossroads Hollywood will include creative office space, retail, residential buildings, and a hotel that are accessible through an open-air paseo filled with shopping, dining, and entertainment. The project will blend the authentic character of Crossroads of the World with a collection of new, modern buildings, creating an experience that celebrates the old and new Hollywood.

Preserving the legacy of the Crossroads of the World complex.

Crossroads Hollywood will retain, rehabilitate, and revitalize the Crossroads of the World complex, which is a designated city and national Historic Cultural Monument.

Crossroads of the World was designed in 1936 as the City’s first outdoor pedestrian village and included a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment uses. Architect Robert Vincent Derrah’s intention was to lend a unique Old World atmosphere to a busy city.

Bringing much-needed upscale dining and hospitality opportunities to Hollywood.

  • The proposed development will rehabilitate and revitalize the historic Crossroads of the World complex
  • There are Nine new mixed-use buildings – residential, hotel, creative office, retail, and restaurant uses – including up to:

    • 308 hotel rooms
    • 950 residential units, including 84 affordable units
    • 185,000 square feet of commercial uses, including the renovated Crossroads 
    • 95,000 square feet of creative office
    • 2,494 total parking spaces – all subterranean
  • There are approximately 1.4 million square feet of new developed floor area, for an approximate Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 4.71 averaged across the Project site
  • The proposed re-alignment of Las Palmas Avenue at Sunset Boulevard will enhance connectivity and automobile and pedestrian safety 
  • The project site is approximately 8 acress
  • A new proposed pedestrian paseo will extend diagonally from Sunset Boulevard at the front end of the Crossroads of the World to the corner of Selma Avenue and Highland Avenue
